About LittleTune Books

Built by people who have led the session

LittleTune Books makes singable picture books, in English and Spanish, and the tools to use them. It started with music therapists, because that is where its founders come from, and it is for anyone who sings with kids.

Why we built it

Nothing was made for the person leading the song

Therapists sing live

They don't need a celebrity vocal track. They need the melody, the words, the chords, and the child's attention.

The kit was always homemade

A singalong book here, a video there, a printed lyric sheet, chords scribbled in a margin. LittleTune puts the book, the song and the tools in one place.

Two languages, both singable

Every book comes in English and Spanish. The Spanish lyrics are written to fit the melody, so they sing as well as the English.

Made to adapt

Speed, pause points and a child's name in the song, so one book fits many children and many settings.

How we work

The rules every book follows

What we hold every book to before it reaches you.

  • English and Spanish. Every book is made in both, with Spanish lyrics fitted to the tune.
  • Songs we can stand behind. Our songs are written in-house; the classics are public-domain tunes with new verses.
  • Reviewed before it ships. Every book passes a content and clinical review checklist.
  • Calm pages. One focal moment per page, so a child knows where to look.
